What is Hyuga?
* THE MAJESTIC ROOTS - HYUGA is Japanese Premium quality, further sieved by 2mm sieve grade right before packed (very clean, UNDER 1% volume of dust per bag)
- Hyuga is a higher grade of Pumice, natural Japanese volcanic product mined in the Murasaki Prefecture, Japan
- Much cleaner and with no dust (although a small quantity of dust is accepted due to mechanical forces involved in packaging and distribution process)
- Lightweight and with a hard structure, can be washed and re-used numerous times as it doesn`t break down easily
- Adds soil structure when mixed with softer aggregates
- Excellent AFP (Air Filled Porosity)
- Prevents root rot by providing excellent soil breath ability and water drainage while having a low water retention
- Neutral PH : 7
- Very low nutrient holding capacity (CEC - cation exchange capacity) : 15meq /100g
